Spark ($59) is a simple product that connects your lights to the internet so you can control them from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. And that means by downloading an app on your phone, you can have a “sunrise” alarm clock that turns on your lights slowly to help you wake up in the morning, or a vacation app that turns on your lights randomly while you’re away so it looks like someone’s home, flash your lights to let you know that you’ve received a new email or text message (huh, pretty cool), automatically dim your lights when it’s bright outside to save energy, or a million other things.
